Intern with GenkiJACS

 

2012 Update: We are not currently accepting new applicants for internship positions.

We accept interns in a variety of areas, from marketing to online development, event and culture activity guide, reception staff and more. It's a great way to improve your Japanese and learn vital skills, without being thrown into the unforgiving environment of a traditional Japanese company.

Requirements

• Former GenkiJACS students only
• Pre-intermediate or above Japanese ability
• Able to work for two months or more
• Have a working holiday visa, or other valid working visa

Responsibilities

• Web site maintenance
• Creation of marketing/multimedia materials
• Communication with students and agencies
• Reception/telephone
• Event and culture activity guide

Preferred Skills

• Some web design ability
• Good English
• People skills

What You Get

• Up to 20 group classes per week
  (If no class at your level is available, you can join the nearest available class.)
• Accommodation in shared apartment or dormitory
• Travel expenses from accommodation to GenkiJACS

What You Give

• 20 hours of volunteering per week
