Dir en grey<\/b> are among the most popular Japanese bands abroad. Almost each year, they perform in small live houses all around the world, from Europe to North America.
This band was born in 1998 in Osaka. Since then, they gained huge popularity in Japan and abroad. In particular, they played at several metal festivals in Europe, as for example the Wacken Open Air or Rock am Ring.
It is difficult to describe their music with a specific genre. Each album has its own sound, which makes Dir en grey<\/b> an eclectic and unique mix of styles and genres.
On November 5th, they performed at Zepp Fukuoka, where more than 1500 people were waiting for their show. For foreign people, seeing a concert in Japan might be an interesting experience: if you take a closer look at your ticket (you can buy it through many convenience stores as Lawson or Family Market) you will find a number on it. Once you arrive at the venue, you will be “classed” by a staff member in a category, following the tickets numbers. This is the entrance order, which means no infinite lines and no disorder at all. People simply wait for their turn to enter the venue and choose their place. You can’t request a number while buying your ticket, though. The quickest will have better number and consequently better places.
