Our Kyoto School is Moving!
We have some exciting news to share — our GenkiJACS Kyoto school is moving to a brand new location!
Since 2019, our Kyoto campus has called the area near Karasuma Station home. It’s been a fantastic base for students from around the world to study Japanese while soaking up everything this incredible city has to offer. But now, we’re taking things up a notch.
We’re thrilled to announce that our Kyoto school will soon be relocating closer to Shijo, which is one of Kyoto’s most vibrant and well-connected areas.
Please note that the name of the building is different as we are yet to update our Google address, but this is where we are going to be!
For our students, this means even easier access to the best that Kyoto has to offer. Whether you’re grabbing lunch between classes, exploring temples after school, or meeting friends for dinner around the Karasuma area, the new location makes everything that little bit more convenient.
Our classrooms, teachers, and the friendly GenkiJACS atmosphere you know and love aren’t going anywhere; just the address is changing! Later in the year we have some more exciting news about our Kyoto school, but we can`t yet disclose too much. What we can say is that we will be sharing the building with Daiichi Gakuin school, which means that the language immersion will be even more complete!
First classes in the new building will be from the 29th of June.
