GenkiJACS Nagoya
Welcome to Genki Japanese and Culture School Nagoya! Nagoya is the 3rd largest city in Japan after Tokyo and Osaka, located in the center of Aichi Prefecture, and full of history. This region was home to the three men who shaped Japan: Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Fast forward a couple of hundred years and another son of Aichi, Kiichiro Toyoda, would start a company that has been shaping our lives for the last century -- Toyota Motors -- and establish Nagoya as one of the nation’s major manufacturing centers. With bustling nightlife, tons of restaurants (Nagoya is known for having some of the best food in Japan!), and experiences and landmarks for every kind of interest, you are sure to have the time of your life in Nagoya. Conveniently situated midway between Tokyo and Osaka, Nagoya offers great opportunity for travel to all parts of Japan. Location
Our Nagoya school has an amazing location in the central Meieki area, just 5 minutes' walk from one of the world’s largest train station buildings. Meieki is one of Nagoya’s most lively areas, housing some of Japan's biggest department stores, high-end brand shops, and the Toyota Auto Showroom within easy walking distance, as well as convenient subways and trains take you to the rest of the sights of Nagoya, Aichi, and Japan itself! Because GenkiJACS shares a building with our big sister Japanese school I.C. Nagoya, you can also use their extensive facilities, and of course make friends with their staff and students too!

Core Japanese Course
Nagoya’s immersive Japanese environment means that you’ll need some Japanese skills to get acclimated, but using the special techniques our teachers have developed, you’ll be surprised just how easy it is to learn! Our Standard Course uses original, modern materials combined with activities based on real-world situations, improving your Japanese speaking ability in a way that gives you the flexibility to adapt to new situations. Study with us and you won’t be just studying Japanese, you’ll be actually using it in no time.
Core CourseLesson system:
Two grammar lessons and two lessons focused on speaking, listening, writing or reading, every weekday. Practice what you’ve learnt at home by homework and assignments, then put that new knowledge to use the next day in our language skills practical classes.
