Want to experience the best of Nagoya city and surroundings sightseeing destinations while mastering the Japanese language? This extra module can be added to your core Japanese course and will have you explore Nagoya and Aichi prefecture, being able to fully experience the "land of the Samurai".

 ⁂　Local guides or our school staff will join to give you a deeper understanding of each site’s history and importance. Go beyond the surface and dig into what makes these Nagoya sites so amazing!

Example activities

This course gives you the chance to experience some or all of the activities below. Available activities depend on the season and on student numbers, but no matter the destination, we’ll make your experience unforgettable! Examples are as follows:

  • Nagoya Castle, Atsuta Shrine
  • Toyota Museum, Tokugawa Garden, Ghibli Park, Tokugawa Art Museum
  • Railway Park, Nagashima Spa Land, Noritake Garden
  • Oasis 21, Osu Shotengai Shopping Street, Nagoya Aquarium
  • Meiji-mura
  • Inuyama City Tour (Castle, Kiso River, Seto Line Area Walking Tour, Streetscape Experience)
  • Arimatsu Narumi Traditional Townscape

  Held on Weekdays and Saturdays
  Only available in Nagoya Campus
  Available every week, all year long
  Available to all levels
  Max length: 4 weeks
  Sightseeing destinations may have to be cancelled due to local conditions. In this case, they will be rescheduled or refunded.

No, the spots are decided per week according to the monthly schedule.
Yes. However, the schedule is confirmed around 1 month before the classes take place, therefore it is not possible to know far in advance.
Transportation is included but generally meals are not.
